Bible Geek:
BG, was born in the Midwest and moved to Arizona at the age of seven. The fifth
of six kids, he usually had to fight for attention. Growing up in the Valley of
the Sun, he always had a tan, but tried to avoid going outside for fear of
spontaneously bursting into flames in the ‘dry Arizona heat’.

Ask Fr. J:
When asked how he became a priest, Fr. J started at the beginning: I was born in 1965 and grew up in Largo, a town on the sun-drenched
west coast of Florida. Being raised by a single parent was no doubt tough, Fr. J still feels that he has been “incredibly blessed
to have had a loving, faith filled home to have been raised in.” After graduating from high school, John took a few years off to
“hanging around.” Those three years gave John enough time to know he had a calling. Fr. J puts it best: “I finally listened to the
voice of God.” John joined the seminary to discern the priesthood.
